Founded by Meegan Talara Llansó, a lay Catholic convert whose heart was shaped by the quiet, steadfast faith of her Spanish‑Catalan family, this store rises from a lineage of devotion that stretches back generations.

Your father’s family carried a deep Catholic identity, woven through the Llansó line like a thread of gold. One of his great‑aunts bore the name Montserrat, a name cherished in Catalonia and honored in your own family. Her sister, Josephina “Pepita” Llansó, longed to become a nun. She died at just thirteen after contracting polio from a public water fountain — a loss that marked your family with sorrow, reverence, and a profound awareness of the fragility of life.

Your grandfather lived his Catholic faith with devotion, and though shecame to the Church later — as a lay convert — she has followed in his footsteps with sincerity and love. Mount Montserrat is her way of carrying that torch forward.

A place of books, media, learning, and spiritual nourishment — built on the faith of those who came before her and the faith she chose for herself.
